- Several sites in Egmont National Park.

| Description: |
- A root parasite on a wide range of forest trees.
- The main part of the plant is a warty ball like structure (up
to the size of a baseball) on a root of the host tree.
- Small flowering shoots break through the surface of the ground.
Flowers are pinkish brown and quite fragrant.
- Male and female flowers are borne on separate plants.
- Preferred food of possums, especially flowers and buds
