Where found:

  • Montane forest in the understorey
  • Forest margins
Description:
  • Slender shrub or small tree with stout, upright branches
  • Thin oblong leaves with a pointed tip and slightly wavy margins (70-100 mm x 30-45 mm)
  • Clusters of flowers and young stems are often purple tinged
  • Red/orange oval fruit (7-8 mm long) are abundant along the short branchlets
