Where found:

  • Common in damp areas, Egmont National Park.
Description:
  • Fronds dull or bronze green, harsh with scaly midribs, 90-550 x 50-220 mm on stipes 30-400 mm long
  • Pinnae or frond divisions in 2-12 pairs, the longest near the middle, but all similar in length, and lowest two turned backwards
  • Separate fertile fronds
