- Fronds dull or bronze green, harsh with scaly midribs, 90-550
x 50-220 mm on stipes 30-400 mm long
- Pinnae or frond divisions in 2-12 pairs, the longest near the
middle, but all similar in length, and lowest two turned backwards
- Separate fertile fronds
