Where found:

  • Mt Taranaki/Egmont subalpine grassland and herbfield, common in Ahukawakawa Swamp.
Description:
  • An upright perennial lily 300-600 mm high with shiny green leaves
  • Conspicuous yellow flowers (10-14 mm) on flower stalks up to 450 mm high, flowering from October to January
