Where found:

  • Montane and subalpine scrub and along forest margins on Mt Taranaki/Egmont
Description:
  • Compact round headed shrub, closely branched
  • Leaves (60-70 mm x 8-10 mm) are close together, sharp pointed and fairly broad
  • Minute rows of hairs on the branchlets
  • Flowers are white or pale mauve
