Where found:

  • Montane and subalpine forest and scrub
Description:
  • Branching shrub with stout branches
  • Dark green, glossy leaves are narrow, leathery, sharptipped and sometimes have minutely serrated edges (80-150 mm x 10-25 mm), they grow opposite in four rows
  • Branchlets are smooth but leaves have minute hairs on the edge near the base
  • Flowers are white or pale mauve
