Where found:

  • Lowland to montane forest
  • Groundcover
  • Common in grazed forest, along track edges
  • Unpalatable to browsing animals
Description:
  • Wide leaved grass with leaf blades up to 50 cm x 6-12 mm
  • Bright green
  • Flowers on very long stalks up to 1.25 metres
