- Low growing cushion like mass of interlacing branches up to
2 m diameter
- Narrow yellowish green blunt ended leaves (7-12 mm x 1-2 mm)
- Tiny insignificant flowers, flowering from November to December
- Pale blue berries, 7 mm long
- Branchlets and stalks have yellowish-brown bark
