Where found:

  • Coastal sand dunes and rocky places
Description:
  • Trailing or woody climbing herb or subshrub with round branching soft woody stems up to 3metres long
  • Fleshy leaves are alternate with minute pimples and smooth margins (1-5cm x 1-3cm)
  • Tiny yellow flowers are unisexual and solitary and without petals
  • Succulent bright to dark red fruit (5-7mm)
