| Description: |
- Grass with long, tough rhizomes up to 1.5mm diameter
- Leaves are smooth, grey/whitish 50-100 mm x 5-30 mm, folded
with prickly tips
- Smooth leaf sheath is shiny white below, purplish above with
membranous margins
